The Caring Company Scheme was launched by the Hong Kong Council of Social Service and funded by the HKSAR Government. Over the years it has gained widespread support from local business and the public. The Caring Company Logo is awarded to recognise private companies which demonstrate good corporate citizenship.

Miele successfully fulfilled the four criteria required to win the award which were Volunteering, Giving, Caring for the Employee and Caring for the Environment.
